Hi! I’m Paige Zwerner and I serve as the Facilities Commissioner in USAC for the 2026-2027 academic term. I currently serve as the UC Student Association’s Academic Affairs Officer and the Transfer Student Representative Chief of Staff. I am also a part of the BOS committee in FAC. In previous years, I have been a part of the office of the President, IVP, and ISR.

Officer-Specific Platforms & Objectives

  • Expanding Access

    • Continuing the legacy of the Lily Shaw Disability Cultural Center

    • Securing sustainable funding to support staffing, maintenance, and long-term operations

    • Collaborating with UCLA Transportation to improve the Safe Ride app for Bruin Access users

  • Electoral & Local Governance Engagement

    • Increasing student involvement in local government matters and midterm elections

    • Engaging with local government candidates whose priorities align with sustainability and accessibility

    • Building strong connections with local officials to advocate for on-campus sustainability and development

  • Building Inclusive Spaces

    • Developing a program that helps both new and returning campus organizations navigate the complexities of Student Organizations Leadership & Engagement (SOLE)

    • Providing structured guidance and support for funding procedures, publicity, and other administrative processes

    • Fostering a stronger sense of community across campus through especially catering to the needs of marginalized and non-traditional university students
